Bogomils and Cathars

The Cathars believed in reincarnation. They were particularly strong in Languedoc, in the south of France. In the thirteenth century, the Pope of Rome organised a crusade against the Cathars, but Rome managed to rid itself of them only a hundred years later. The Cathars were very popular among both nobles and the poor, who called them Good People.

The Cathars believed that people were not responsible for their sins. They taught that the world had been created by the fallen angel Lucifer and that human souls were imprisoned in bodies against their will; whatever people did, they were doomed to suffering and death. The horrifying thing is that more than a million Cathars were burned at the stake by the Inquisition solely because, according to the Roman popes, their faith was not correct. The Cathars wanted to destroy this world, mired in depravity and lies.

Bogomilism is an entirely different worldview. Direct knowledge about the Bogomils is provided by Svetozar, a representative of the LINEAGE and the third son of Bogoris, the Bulgarian Tsar. Ordinary people called Svetozar Boyan the Mage because of his special GIFT as a seer and healer. They also began to call him the monk Gregory the Brave, who, following the guidance of the Heavenly Father, assumed responsibility for Zlatoslava, the daughter of Prekrasna-Olga Ki-Yavska (Tsaritsa of the Great State), becoming her mentor and guardian of the artefacts.

Boyan the Mage — Svetozar created Bogomilism, guided human beings and spoke about Austin — TarkhBog — DazhBog — Jesus. He spoke to human beings who had forgotten their BIRth and accepted something foreign. Boyan the Mage explained to them the meaning of the royal rite and ascetic discipline; he guided and, when necessary, healed those who cherished what was their own, what belonged to the LINEAGE, what was primordial, but he neither imposed nor reproached them for the weakness of their blood.

Boyan the Mage said that everyone had a right to purity of the blood of the LINEAGE, purity of thought, and purity of body and soul. He left humanity instructions in the Zoryana Book and on tablets — documents signed in his own hand.

Thus, the Cathars and the Bogomils themselves had different beliefs, teachings and aims. The Bogomils are the path to the knowledge, culture and traditions of the LINEAGE. LeiLiya
