Servile Submission

A man with dark hair and a beard, in a torn beige linen shirt and woollen trousers, stands in a cave and tears a rusted iron chain from his wrists with his bare hands as dust and metal fragments fly through the air; behind him the morning light breaks through a cleft in the rock.

The depth of the problem

Servile submission is rooted in human nature at a very deep level. It is not merely laziness or fear. It is the result of millennia:

Religious programming

The idea of “God’s creation”, original sin and humility before “the will of those above” — whether gods, kings, priests or the “chosen” — has cultivated obedience as a “virtue”. Not to think, not to argue, not to demand — this is the path to “salvation”.

Economic enslavement and enslavement by force

Direct violence, the threat of hunger and the loss of shelter have made resistance mortally dangerous or impossible for generations. Submission meant survival.

The psychology of learned helplessness

When generations see no successful examples of resistance or change, the brain learns: “It is useless. It has always been this way. It will always be this way.” This goes deeper than laziness — it is trauma.

The comfort of ignorance and irresponsibility

Laziness and the fear of leaving one’s comfort zone are consequences, not causes. It is much easier to be led than to bear the weight of responsibility for one’s own life and decisions, and for society’s future. Waiting for a “saviour” means delegating that heavy responsibility.

The cycle of heroes and betrayal

Here I see a tragic cycle. A Hero/Idea appears, ready for Sacrifice. The Hero dies/the idea exacts an enormous price. The people, frightened by the cost or disappointed, retreat into the familiar mire of submission and comfort (“They shook their heads… and carried on as before”). The oppressors exploit this weakness to re-establish control. The hero’s sacrifice becomes a justification for new shackles: “You see where rebellion leads?”

What is Needed to Achieve Equality in Society and “Disempower” the Oppressors

Awakening Consciousness (Knowledge)

Dismantling Myths

Systematically exposing the lies about being “chosen by God”, the “naturalness” of slavery and the “inevitability” of hierarchy. The real mechanisms of oppression must be shown.

Restoring True hiSTORY and Self-Identification

This is what I work on — restoration — and it is CRITICAL. A people without knowledge of its undistorted history, its achievements before enslavement and its own strength is easily controlled. Knowledge is immunity against lies.

An elderly man with a long white beard and a knitted cap sits at a low wooden table and points to a page of an old manuscript before three children in patterned linen shirts who lean over the table in curiosity; beside them lies an engraved bronze tablet, and on the right a bronze oil lamp with a glass shade burns in a room with rugs and niches holding copper vessels.

Critical Thinking

People must learn to think independently, analyse information and ask questions instead of blindly trusting outside authorities.

Mutual Aid and Solidarity

Fear paralyses the individual. Creating networks of support, mutual aid and communities in which people feel the power of the collective breaks the isolation imposed by the oppressors.

A Culture of Dignity

Cultivating a sense of one’s own dignity and one’s right to respect and freedom. Replacing servile submission with inner steadfastness.

Building Alternative Structures (Power)

To “disempower” them, we must take away their sources of power.

The essence of what I have said is this

To reject slavery, we must attack it at every level. With Knowledge — to shatter the lies and reclaim our self-identity. With Will — to overcome fear and cultivate dignity. With Power — to build our own economic, governance and information structures. And with wisdom — to abandon the destructive cult of sacrifice in favour of strategic creation.

This is hard, daily work that requires patience, discipline and faith, not in a “saviour”, but in the power of an organised people who remember their dignity and their right to freedom.

We can “disempower” the oppressors only by depriving them of their chief source of energy — our submission, ignorance and division — while building, alongside their system, a viable system of our own that gradually displaces it. LeiLiya, Guardian of the LINEAGE.
